Raw Food Trial:Day 25

Detox and Weight

Today i am down 2 pounds from  yesterday for a total lose of 14.5 pounds since the start of this trial.
Today, my thick white tongue was back.  Yuck, i wonder if that was because i did not eat much yesterday so my body focused more on detox.
Sleep has still been interesting.  I have also slept well and usually remember my dreams, however, this whole month i have only remembered one.  The one i do remember was awesome, very clear, and it seemed like i lived days in just a few hours.
I am still sleeping a ton.  I typically sleep 4 or 5 hours and have a couple night a week that i stay up all night.  However, right now, i am typically falling asleep and sleeping until 7 for a total of 7 or 8 hours sometimes.  I feel like i spend all day in bed.
I used to get sleepy pretty gradually. I would start to notice the sings and symptoms of fatigue and could then start planning sleep.  However, this is not the case for the past couple weeks.  I have tons of energy, no energy crashed in the middle of the day, but when my body decides it is sleepy, i go from 100 to 10 in about 1 minute.

Food

Today, i woke up every hungry, but within about 10 minutes, i was not hungry at all anymore.  I was a little thirsty.  i had some water, and then breakfast when i got hungry a couple hours later.
I tried a new thing.  I cut up 2 bananas, a couple dates, and crunched some pecans in a bowl.  I topped it with cashew milk.  It was very good, but for me, the cashew milk needed a little more flavor.  I will work on that.
For lunch i made those awesome sunflower seed tacos again.  I had 2 and some kale salad on the side.  For dessert, i had 3 chocolate nut balls.  They were ok, and i remember last week they were awesome, but they did not do much for me today.
For dinner, i just had left overs from lunch in a bowl without any taco shells.  It really hit the spot.
I love to move around, and often when i go to the gym late, i would come home starving even if i ate dinner.  Not any more.  Everytime i go to the gym late, including tonight, i have had the following experience.  I eat dinner, do an hour of cadio, spend some time in the steam room then hot tub, shower, come home.  I am not hungry at all.  Majority thirsty? yes.  hungry? nope.

Only 5 days left!  i am still thinking about what i want to do at the end of the 30 days.  Except for being able to eat with friends and not be stuck like i felt yesterday with being out in the middle of no where with no food, i really like eating raw and feel no desire to return to just being vegan, but i will see what tomorrow brings.
Here comes lindsay’s entry!

Adrienne :)

Day 25

Today was fairly low key.  Oranges for breakfast dinner.  Also, I made my first raw vegan smoothie.  I realize that I waited a bit long, but the smoothie turned out great and was very tasty.  Lunch was an interesting experience.  Adrienne made tacos exactly like she did the other day.  When she made them the other day I really enjoyed them.  However, when she made them today, they almost made me sick.  I couldn’t even get through half of one.  I was a bit bewildered and bummed.
Other than that today was fairly uneventful in terms in terms of my raw vegan saga.

I give you, today’s joke :) :

If Microsoft Built Cars

1. Every time they repainted the lines on the road you would have to buy a new car.
2. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason, and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.
3. Occasionally, executing a maneuver would cause your car to stop and fail and you would have to re-install the engine. For some strange reason, you would accept this too.
4. You could only have one person in the car at a time, unless you bought “Car95″ or “CarNT”. But, then you would have to buy more seats.
5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast, twice as easy to drive – but would only run on 5 percent of the roads.
6. The Macintosh car owners would get expensive Microsoft upgrades to their cars, which would make their cars run much slower.
7. The oil, gas and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single “general car default” warning light.
8. The air bag system would say, “are you sure?” before going off.
9. If you were involved in a crash, you would have no idea what happened.

Cheers,

Lindsay
